CORPORATE RELATIONSHIP OFFICER
SUMMARY
The Corporate Relationship Officer is responsible for providing solutions to commercial and private clients about a variety of financial matters and promote the financial services/products of 1st National Bank St. Lucia.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing and managing relationships with Large Corporates to meet their funding requirement to include Syndicate facilities
- Develop relationship plans and client contact strategy to meet the bank’s business objectives
- Preparation of Indicative Term Sheets
- Manage the entire lending process cycle right from Lead Generation, Credit appraisal which include credit / risk rating of the borrower on the basis of business & financial analysis, due diligence and site visits.
- Presenting the proposal to sanctioning unit, resolve their queries and obtain sanction.
- Follow up with clients for on time submission of financials and related documents, getting proposals approved/Renewed, Documentation & Disbursement of facilities.
- Manage and prepare proposal for Performance Bonds, Cheque Guarantees & Customs Bonds
- Attend and present proposals at Credit Risk Committee
- Manage an existing portfolio to ensure that credit quality is maintained with minimal attrition while adding incremental growth.
- Development & implementation of new business development strategies and markets.
- Follow up status of own active sales opportunities according to cause and keep customer informed
- Request and Complete Credit Check
- Complete Daily Overdrawn DDA Report
- Renew Overdraft facilities
- Manage pipeline and contingent liabilities.
- Track weekly and monitor sales achieved in relation to personal target.
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in Business Management, Banking, Finance or a related discipline or other relevant qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in relationship management, preferably in financial institutions.
