Inventory Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Officer to join our team. The Inventory Officer will be responsible for managing inventory levels and ensuring accuracy in stock records. This role is essential in maintaining our commitment to excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

Specific Duties Include but are not limited to the following:

Ensure the accuracy of inventory in the warehouse through a daily perpetual inventory process.

Maintain accurate records of inventory stock sheets, focusing on high turnover items.

Investigate all inventory discrepancies and promptly report findings to management.

Verify that stock locations in the warehouse correspond accurately with recorded locations in the DMS.

Ensure consistency in nomenclature for inventory in the DMS and on labels in the warehouse.

Conduct monthly vehicle counts to ensure accuracy of vehicle inventory. Also to conduct unscheduled spot audits as and when required.

Conduct scheduled and unscheduled spot audits of technicians’ toolboxes, Workshop tools, and Workshop supplies.

Conduct periodic inventory audits of company assets, equipment and supplies.

Perform the subsidiary functions of Cashier as and when necessary.

The Ideal Candidate should possess the following:

1. Associate degree or A-Levels in Accounting or other Business Studies

2. Five (5) CXC passes, including Mathematics, English, Business Studies, or Accounting

3. Relevant work experience as an Inventory Officer or Clerk

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

5. Strong attention to detail

6. Excellent data gathering, analysis, and problem-solving skills

7. High ethical standards and integrity
