Overview
St. Lucia Distillers Limited is seeking a skilled and reliable Boiler Operator to support its production
operations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of boiler
systems while maintaining compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that steam is available to the plant on demand.
- Monitoring boiler operation and taking timely corrective actions, when necessary.
- Ensuring preventative maintenance procedures are carried out as scheduled.
- Maintaining an adequate supply of burnable fuel at all times.
- Ensuring a continuous supply of good-quality boiler feed water.
- Maintaining boiler water quality within acceptable limits for established parameters.
- Immediately reporting any malfunction of associated equipment.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Automotive/Motor Vehicle fields.
- 1 – 2 years of relevant work experience or completion of a relevant apprenticeship/practical training
program.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Able to lift and carry a weight of 50 pounds.
- Attention to details.
