Overview

Bel Jou Hotel is seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team in the following positions:

1. Steward
Department: Food & Beverage
Responsibilities:
● Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen and food preparation areas
● Assist with dishwashing, utensil cleaning, and proper storage of kitchen equipment
● Support the culinary team as required

Requirements:
● Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment preferred
● Must be available to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment
● Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards

2. Line Cook
Department: Food & Beverage
Responsibilities:
● Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and hotel standards
● Ensure quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes
● Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
● Monitor stock levels and report shortages

Requirements:
● Proven experience as a cook in a hotel, restaurant, or catering setting
● Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
● Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

3. Room Technician
Department: Maintenance
Responsibilities:
● Maintain and repair hotel rooms, furniture, fixtures, and equipment
● Respond promptly to guest requests for room repairs
● Support the Housekeeping team in maintaining guest room standards

Requirements:
● Previous experience in hotel maintenance or a related field
● Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
● Must be available to work flexible hours
● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
