Forklift Operator

Overview

Job Summary- Responsible for operating a forklift or other powered material-handling equipment to
safely move, locate, relocate, and stack merchandise. Ensures the safe and efficient operation of equipment and may also be required to perform picking and related warehouse duties as needed.

Main Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials using a forklift or other powered
  materials handling equipment.
• Maintain equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Unload shipments safely and move product to storage location. Efficiently stack and store the product in the appropriate areas.
• Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas to the delivery area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with material loading and radio frequency equipment.
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program.
• Valid driver’s license.
