ACCOUNTS CLERK
Responsible for performing a range of general clerical, accounting and bookkeeping support functions in the organization.
Some Job Responsibilities include:
Prepare all purchase orders accurately within 24 hours of receipt
Assist in Maintaining the GL, AP, and AR for all companies
Assist in Performing bank reconciliations for Orkin and Travel Cash on a monthly basis
Assist in Preparing all Orkin Invoices in a timely manner
Assist in Maintaining all inventory records (chemicals, parts, uniforms, bags and seals)
Issue all inventory as required
Perform periodic stock counts on inventory
Assist Accounts Officer Billing with M&R, CIT & Guarding Billing
Assist Payables officer with entering and processing payments
Assist Receptionist by holding on during lunch period or absence
Maintain vendor and customer files for Guardsman, Orkin and Travel Cash
Assist in processing Travel Cash loans in absence of Supervisor
Assist in filing of all payables and billing information
Assist with implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls and procedures
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Associates Degree in Business OR level 1 ACCA OR equivalent completed or CAT qualified
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Knowledge of finance principles
Knowledge of financial reporting
Knowledge of statutory laws regarding accounting, finances and taxation
Technical accounting skills
