The property will feature a magnificent Coore & Crenshaw-designed 18-hole golf course and a stunning collection of residences ranging from hillside townhomes to expansive single-family homes and customizable beachfront lots. Cabot Saint Lucia broke ground on phase one of development in the summer of 2019. The Point Hardy Golf Club is set to open in 2023.

Position Overview:
The Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing and directing several individual construction projects from conception to completion. The role will report directly to the Senior Project Manager and will involve all aspects of construction management
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of the construction project
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain relevant permits and licenses
- Manage and co-ordinate construction workers and subcontractors
- Ensure onsite and offsite construction complies with building and safety regulations and environmental mitigation
- Select tools, materials and equipment and efficiently track inventories for all projects
- Ensure contractual conditions of performance are achieved
- Maintain daily progress reviews
- Manage Site Inductions
- Ensure quality control and acceptance through monitoring and observation
- Coordinate and track RFI & Submittal Processes
- Monitor all procurement activity
- Review and agree Construction Schedules and report to the Senior Project Manger
- Analyse and effectively manage risk schedules and mitigation to ensure efficient delivery of work schedules
- Manage Method Statements
- Coordinate and chair weekly progress meetings
- Provide daily/weekly/monthly project status reports
- Morning brief introduction of the production activities/tasks and, distributing/discussing safety toolbox talk
Experience and Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree and/or 10 years’ experience in construction management
- Experience in managing multiple construction contracts concurrently
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes means and methods
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
- Practical experience in construction practices, team working, IT proficiency and preparation of Construction Execution Plans
- Experience in managing timelines, sequencing, and programming schedules
- Sound knowledge of Fire and Health & Safety responsibilities, environmental protection strategies and execution
- Management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively
- Strategic thinker with the ability to plan and see the “big picture”
- Plan and organise effectively; work well under pressure; make decisions; take appropriate action
- Competent in managing conflict and crisis management
