Job Title: Inventory Officer

Job Summary:

Brice & Company Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Clerk to manage the flow of inventory in our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate stock levels, and maintaining clear records of incoming and outgoing goods. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring all stock is accounted for and properly organized.
  • Data Entry: Accurately log and track inventory data in the company’s inventory management system, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
  • Receiving Goods: Verify and inspect incoming shipments for quantity and quality, ensuring all items meet company standards.
  • Stock Control: Perform regular stock counts and reconciliations to ensure physical stock matches system records.
  • Communication: Coordinate with the Accounts, Purchasing and Sales departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely restocking of products.
  • Warehouse Organization: Ensure the warehouse is well-organized and inventory is properly stored and labeled.
  • Reporting: Ensure and assist accountant in entering stock take results promptly into the Database and reports submitted. Prepare weekly inventory reports for management review.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and company policies related to inventory and warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary school education or equivalent; additional certifications in inventory management or related fields are a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, stock management, or warehouse operations.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills and a team player mentality.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
The role may involve occasional flexible working hours, including overtime, weekends and public holidays.
