Summary:

Caribbean Grains Limited – Flour Mill, a prominent local producer specializing in high-quality white and whole wheat flour, is actively seeking to hire a Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our marketing initiatives and strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Assisting in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.

Conducting market research to identify trends and consumer preferences.

Assisting the VA-Marketer with marketing tools – helping to create engaging content for various platforms, including social media, email newsletters, and any other outlet.

Organize, set up, and plan marketing pop-up shops.

Work closely with Baking technician for development of content for pages.

Disseminate information to the wider work team about upcoming events they may have to take part in as a means of content for the company page.

Develop standard questions tailored to flour consumption and use to determine customers’ needs and wants.

Record customer feedback on needs and wants and assist in funneling feedback information into the right departments to help build a better product line.

Determine how our current products are serving the customers’ needs/wants.

Contribute and assist in creating marketing plans and strategies.

Engage in promotion activities when necessary to improve sales.

Ensure a high-quality customer experience at every interaction.

Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping company and client information confidential.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a creative mindset, and a keen interest in the food industry. You should be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. A background in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred, along with proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics.
